Atlanta, Ga - The National Museum of Patriotism, celebrating the Patriotism of America is headquartered
in Atlanta, GA and is the only museum of it’s kind in
the U.S.A. Mr. Nick Snider the museum's creator and
owner had the vision for this unique treasury of
America. Mr. Snider, a retired Senior Vice President
of UPS, who is a patriotic American, wanted to build
something that would inspire other Americans to do
more for our country! After going thru the museum you
leave saying “What can I do for my country?”
Exhibits in The National Museum of Patriotism are interactive; visitors can use their cell phone for an audio tour. This unique museum offers the following exhibits: A Homage to our founding fathers, Salute to the men and women of the armed services, The Immigrant Experience Ellis Island, Olympic Exhibit, A moving tribute to 9/11, Hall of Patriots/Signature exhibits with uniform and civilian Heroes, Martin Luther King Jr. Statue, Medal of Honor recipient Desomond Doss, Homage to General Raymond Davis, and The USO Project Video Connect, which allows friends and family of the military to send free video messages to their loved ones serving in contingency areas. In addition, the museum has the largest collection of Sweetheart WWII jewelry in the world. Visitors can also expect to see: Items from Presidential Libraries, Vehicles used in the military and an impressive tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen. The National Museum of Patriotism will re-open to the public in Nov 2008 and in Jan 2008, a star studded gala with film, tv and music stars in attendence. Country superstar Lee Greenwood and music ledgend Patty Labelle will be on hand to unveil the Patriotism in Music area as well as their exhibits. They will also help unveil the Bob Hope and the Access Hollywood exhibits. The National Museum of Patriotism presents a Patriotism Award to individuals & companies who exhibit true Patriotism for America, which have included: Acclaimed military, celebrities, civilians, and captains of industry. Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients luncheon with
30 Medal of Honor recipients in attendance. The
celebrity master of ceremony was Hollywood Walk Of
Fame star, Fred Travalena, with a special “God Bless The
USA” performance by country superstar Lee Greenwood.
